Macallan Classic Cut 2022 is the sixth edition of the annual Classic Cut series, bottled at 52.5% ABV.
It was matured entirely in first-fill sherry casks made from European and American oak, which gives a warm, powerful and distinctly sweet style of Macallan.
The nose brings dried fruit, raisins, orange zest, vanilla, toffee and warm spices. On the palate it is full and intense, with sherry sweetness, chocolate, cinnamon, citrus oil, caramel and rich oak. The finish is long and warming, with spicy sweetness.
