Macallan – Classic Cut 2023

Macallan Classic Cut 2023 is the 2023 edition of an annual limited release from Macallan, built around sherry influence and a higher alcohol content than the standard range. It was matured entirely in first-fill ex-sherry casks made of European and American oak. The result is a full-bodied, creamy and sweet whisky. The label follows the Classic Cut design, with red and white accents. On the nose there are raisins, orange marmalade, vanilla, cinnamon, dark chocolate and warm oak. The palate is rich, with dried fruit, toffee, spicy sherry, caramel, citrus oil and chocolate. The finish is long, warming and sweet-spicy, ending dry.
