A Speyside single malt from Macallan, the second release in the Concept Series, made as a limited edition for Global Travel Retail. It joins music and whisky, two passions of Macallan whisky maker Steven Bremner, who is also a house music DJ. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The casks include sherry-seasoned American oak, Miguel Martin sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, bringing vanilla, citrus, toffee and floral notes along with rounded spice. The nose is toffee apple, vanilla, oak spice and blackberry, with nutmeg, rose water and pistachio. The palate is sweet toffee and dried apple with almond and cinnamon, and the finish is medium sweet with spice and toffee.
