Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow (75cl, 44.2%)

Amber Meadow is a single malt from The Macallan, part of its Harmony Collection, bottled at 44.2% in a 750ml bottle. It is matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks together with ex-bourbon casks, which gives a lighter, more citrus-led character than the distillery's sherry-only expressions. The box and bottle labels are made from meadow cuttings gathered from the land around the distillery. The nose offers vanilla, floral honey, lemon peel and orange zest. The palate is soft and creamy, with toffee, stone fruit and melon, then cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and velvety, with oak, vanilla and a little lemon.
