Macallan Decade V is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, the fifth release in a collection marking 60 years of James Bond. Each bottle in the collection represents one decade of the films.
Decade V covers the noughties and the Daniel Craig era. Its packaging shows a car sequence from Casino Royale (2006) and a digitally sketched rooftop chase from Quantum of Solace (2008).
The nose is lemon and lime with a little sherbet, then vanilla, coconut, dried fig and raisin. The palate brings orange zest, gentle oak, ginger spice, dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart with honey. The finish is sweet and long.
