This is a 14 year old Macallan from the 2005 vintage, bottled in 2019 by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Speymalt range. It was matured in a single sherry cask and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has toffee and banana with stewed dark fruits and milk chocolate. The palate is rich and smooth, with orange peel, poached pear, creamy chocolate and black pepper, and a slight woody spice. The finish is lingering and creamy.
