A 19 year old Macallan distilled in 1998 and bottled by the independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail in its Speymalt range. The range takes its name from a famous salmon fishing river and is devoted entirely to Macallan. Rich sherry aromas come with demerara sugar, stewed fruits and a hint of beeswax polish. The palate is peppery, with plum, raspberry and banana, and it develops into a long, creamy finish.
