Maison Trénel Fils Crème de Framboise de Bourgogne (18%)

This is a raspberry liqueur from Burgundy, made by Maison Trénel Fils, a traditional Burgundian house known for its fruit liqueurs. It is bottled at 18% ABV. Aromatic red raspberries, harvested between June and mid-July, are macerated gently in neutral spirit so that their flavour and colour pass slowly into the alcohol. The result is a deep ruby liqueur that works in Champagne cocktails and as an aperitif, or poured over desserts. The nose offers crushed raspberries, wild berry compote and subtle floral notes. The palate is rich and concentrated, with balanced sweetness and lively berry acidity, and the finish is long, with fresh fruit and a delicate floral touch.
