Manly Spirits – Coastal Stone Nor'easter Australian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is an Australian single malt from Manly Spirits, made from grain to glass at their distillery on Sydney's Northern Beaches. It is bottled at 46% ABV and sealed with a stopper made from real Sydney sandstone. The whisky is described as having maritime influences from the Sydney coast, with rich dark fruits and five spice. Fine, subtle tannins come from French and American oak. The nose offers stone fruits such as white peach, apricot and nectarine, with golden apple, Asian pear, spring flowers, chocolate, vanilla and honey. The palate is creamy, with pear, chocolate and five spice at the back. The finish is long, smooth and clean, with nutty chocolate and dried stone fruits.
