Marc Hébrart Cuvée de Réserve is a non-vintage Brut grower Champagne from the Vallée de la Marne, made by a family-run estate in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. It is built on roughly 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, made by the traditional method with a second fermentation in bottle.
The estate harvests, presses and vinifies each of its more than 85 individual plots separately before blending. The Pinot Noir gives structure and fruit weight, while the Chardonnay adds freshness and lift.
The nose offers apple blossom, white flowers, anise, ginger and lilac over a stony note. On the palate it is medium-bodied and fleshy, with nectarine, peach, blood orange and lemon curd, and it finishes mineral and chalky with tangerine peel.
