Marc Hébrart Special Club Brut 2018 is a vintage grower Champagne from the Vallée de la Marne, bottled at 12.5% in a 75cl bottle.
It is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, fermented in stainless steel with natural malolactic conversion and aged about three years on its lees. It carries the Special Club designation, which requires a unanimous vote by the members of the Club de Trésors.
The nose shows pear, white peach, citrus oil and fresh pastry. The palate moves from ripe apple and cherry to candied ginger, toast and candied lemon peel, with a mineral thread. The finish is long, with white pepper, apricot and a fine mousse.
