A grappa distilled from the pomace of Nebbiolo grapes used to make Barolo, aged for 12 years in small oak casks. It develops a complexity of aromas and depth of flavour from that long ageing.
On the nose it offers ripe fruit, sweet spices and a trace of vanilla, with subtle tobacco and chocolate notes. The palate is soft and rounded, with flavours that echo the aromas, leading to a long, persistent finish.
