Marolo Grappa di Barolo 14 Years is a mature grappa with warm reflections from long ageing. The nose shows dried fruit, a touch of honey and light spice, in a complex but not heavy bouquet. The palate is sinuous and full-bodied, with a velvety texture and pleasant persistence. The finish is sustained, savoury but measured. It is suited to contemplation after a meal, or with dry sweets and intense cheeses, served neat at room temperature.
