Mars Kasei (2019)

Mars Kasei is a Japanese blended whisky from the Mars Shinshu Distillery, high in the Japanese Alps. Kasei is the Japanese word for the planet Mars, and the name refers to the warm, reddish tone of the label. It is a light, round whisky without heavy smoky notes. The nose brings fresh apple, pear and light vanilla. The palate is soft, fruity and subtly sweet, with hints of grain and white chocolate. The finish is mild and slightly spicy.
