Mars Komagatake – 2024 Edition (70cl, 50%)

Mars Komagatake 2024 Edition is a single malt from the Mars Komagatake Distillery, which stands at the foot of the Komagatake mountain range in the Central Alps. It is a limited edition bottled in 2024 at 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The base is the distillery's original bourbon barrel-matured whisky, vatted with a range of other original whiskies, including sherry cask and wine cask whiskies of rich character. The aroma offers apple tea, green apple, vanilla and honey. Ripe persimmon, sour fruit and moist baked goods follow on the palate, and the finish is aromatic and savoury-sweet with a fresh, crisp aftertaste.
