This is a single cask single malt from the Mars Shinshu distillery in Japan, released under the Komagatake name as the Momushiya bottling. The whisky was matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength. Mars Shinshu is not among the largest distilleries in Japan, and it is regarded for an elegant, graceful style.
