Mars Komagatake The Revival is a Japanese single malt distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2014 after three years in bourbon casks. It is bottled at 58% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The edition marks the reopening of the Mars-Shinshu distillery in 2011, after it closed in 1992 during the downturn in Japanese whisky. It is lightly peated, at 8 ppm, and was released in 6,000 bottles worldwide.
