Mars Komagatake Yakushima Aging 2020 (70cl, 53%)

Mars Komagatake Yakushima Aging 2020 is the 2020 edition of a Japanese whisky distilled at the Mars Shinshu distillery, high up in central Japan, and bottled at 53% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was then aged on the island of Yakushima. Mars wants to measure the effect of different ageing climates across Japan. On Yakushima the humidity is high, and the whisky is very lightly peated, with maritime and indulgent notes.
