Mars Malt Duo Komagatake x Chichibu 2021 is a Japanese blend of Komagatake and Chichibu whiskies, bottled at 54% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was aged at Shinshu.
Blending casks from different distilleries is a more recent practice in Japan than in Scotland, where it is long established.
The profile is fruity, harmonious and complex, with notes of plum, cake, cocoa and black tea.
