Mars Malt Le Papillon 2012 is a single cask whisky from the Mars Shinshu Distillery in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is a limited edition release.
The whisky was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2016, after four years in a single American white oak cask. It comes in a box.
Vanilla, spice and oak lead the notes, with a touch of sweetness and a subtle smokiness. The palate is full-bodied and complex, followed by a long finish.
