Mars Maltage Cosmo is a blended malt whisky from Japan. It is composed of Japanese malt whisky from Shinshu Mars, blended with malt whisky from Scotland. That raises a fair question: can a whisky that includes Scottish malt still be called Japanese whisky? According to Japanese law, it can, so the answer is yes.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
