New Pot Lightly Peated is the unaged spirit from Mars Shinshu Distillery, near Nagano in Japan. It has not spent time in wooden casks, so it shows the distillate as it comes off the still. It comes from a single distillation run, made with only lightly peated malt. The spirit was distilled in June 2020 and bottled in September 2020 at 60% in a 250ml bottle, by Hombo Shuzo.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
