This is a limited edition Japanese single malt from the Mars Shinshu distillery. It is vatted from bourbon barrels and several other kinds of cask from the distillery in Shinshu, and bottled at 48% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is sweet, with honey, malt sugar, maple syrup and vanilla, and peach behind. On the palate come light charred wood, toffee and honey, then orange jam and peaches, with a hint of peanut towards the back. The finish is nutty with spicy pepper.
