Martha's 10 Year Old Tawny Port (75cl, 20%)

This is a 10 Year Old tawny port from Martha's, matured in oak casks in Portugal's Douro. It is blended from six grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Roriz. The colour is a deep red. The nose is rich with nuts and a welcoming sweetness. The palate is full and balanced, with a noticeable alcohol that gives it body and character, and the finish is full and lingering. It is best served lightly chilled, on its own or with rich desserts such as nut tart or risalamande.
