Martha's Colheita 2007 Tawny Port (75cl, 20%)

This is a Colheita tawny port from the Douro, made entirely from the 2007 harvest. It is blended from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cão, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Roriz, and aged for at least seven years. It is bottled at 20% in a 75cl bottle. Martha's is a family business that handles everything itself, from harvest and production to bottling. The nose offers raisins and dried fruit with sweet caramel. The palate is warm, with light hints of spice and tannin, and the fruit and caramel return. The finish is warm, with gentle spice.
