Martha's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2019 (75cl, 19%)

This is a Late Bottled Vintage port from the 2019 harvest, made in the Douro from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cão, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Roriz. It was bottled four years after the harvest. The nose is intense, with dark berries, especially morello and other cherries. The palate is juicy and deep, led by dark fruit with a subtle tannin. The finish is medium and fruity, with a slightly dry, earthy note that recalls hazelnuts. It goes well with strong cheeses, dark chocolate and dried fruits. The producer is a family business that handles harvest, production and bottling itself.
