Martha's 30 Year Old Tawny Port comes from the Douro in Portugal and is the product of a very long period of ageing in oak casks. It is made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Roriz, and is bottled at 20% in a 75cl bottle.
The colour is a deep, classic tawny. The nose is soft, rich and elegant, and the palate brings dried fruit and honey in good balance. The finish is long, velvety and rich.
It is best served lightly chilled, on its own after a meal or alongside dessert.
