Matsui – The San-In Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl)

The San-In is a blended Japanese whisky from Matsui, made in Kurayoshi in Tottori prefecture, western Japan, and sold in a 70cl bottle. The distillery draws on pure underground water from Mount Daisen, which gives a smooth, mellow taste to a whisky described as light and refreshing. Ageing in barrels brings notes of vanilla and fruit. The colour is golden brown. The nose is pear, vanilla and apricot. The palate brings melon, pear, ginger, a slight hint of vanilla and incense, leading to a well balanced, warm and sweet finish with pear.
