The Matsui Single Malt Mizunara Cask is a Japanese single malt whisky bottled at 48% ABV. It comes from the Matsui Distillery in Tottori prefecture, in the south-west of Honshu, which was founded in 1910.
The whisky was matured in a cask made from Japanese oak, known as mizunara. It won a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in May 2019.
It is described as mildly sweet on the palate and richly spiced.
