Kurayoshi Pure Malt Sherry Cask is a Japanese malt whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is made at the Matsui Distillery in Tottori Prefecture, on the south-western part of Honshu, founded in 1910. The whisky had three years of traditional maturation before a finish in sherry casks.
The nose offers ripe fruit and chocolate with some walnut and a hint of blueberry. The palate brings citrus, lemongrass, raisin, blue berries and honey, with sweet and doughy flavours that complement each other. The finish is light.
