Kurayoshi Sherry Cask is a Japanese whisky blended from several Japanese distilleries and matured by Matsui, the family distillery in Tottori province that has been working since 1910. Matsui also makes shochu and sake.
The whisky spends at least three years in sherry casks and is reduced with filtered water from Mount Daisen, which comes from volcanic rock.
The flavour is fruity and harmonious, balanced by a subtle note of chocolate.
