MB Roland Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a barrel-proof bourbon from MB Roland Distillery in Pembroke, Kentucky, in a 750ml bottle. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered, with no water added, and the strength varies by batch between 105 and 115 proof. Each batch is hand-labelled, numbered and individually proofed.
The distillery was founded in 2009 on an Amish dairy farm. The mash is 78% white corn, 17% rye and 5% malt, distilled in copper pot stills in a pre-Prohibition style and matured in new charred oak.
It is described as smooth and sweet, with vanilla, caramel, toffee and pralines, and a warm rye spice underneath.
