This is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from MB Roland, a west Kentucky producer. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at a barrel-proof 55% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from Batch 6 and is bottle 83 of 826, drawn from new charred barrel number 4.
The mash bill is 68% rye, 27% local white corn and 5% malted barley. The corn is described as buttery, and it softens the spicy rye character. The whiskey was aged in new oak barrels with an alligator char.
