McCallum Mc Islay

McCallum Mc Islay is an Islay single malt with the character of the sea and of grassy peatland, with the smoke of a peat fire in the chimney. It matured in a second-fill ex-bourbon cask of American oak. It is aimed at those who like an elegant, peaty malt that is oily, grassy and marked by seaweed. The nose brings smoked haddock, iodine, honey and grapefruit. The palate is peppery and salty with a note of candy floss, and the finish carries herbs, seaweed and a salty sea breeze.
