McKenzie Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

McKenzie Bourbon is a New York craft bourbon from Finger Lakes Distilling in Burdett, made from 70% corn, 20% rye and 10% malted barley. It is aged in newly charred American oak, then finished in former Chardonnay casks from neighbouring Finger Lakes wineries. The Chardonnay finish adds a rich, buttery character to the bourbon's notes of toffee, apricot and cinnamon. The spirit is double-distilled in a 350-gallon copper pot still imported from Germany. The corn and rye come from local upstate New York farms and the malted barley from Canada.
