Mellow Corn is a Kentucky straight corn whiskey from Heaven Hill, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The mash is at least 80 percent corn, and the spirit spends four years in a once-used Bourbon barrel. Without the new charred oak used for Bourbon, it stays a lighter, straw colour rather than deep amber.
Heaven Hill is one of the few distilleries still making this style of whiskey.
