Metaxa 12 Stars (75cl, 40%)

Metaxa 12 Stars is a Greek amber spirit in the brandy style, made by the house Spyros Metaxa founded in 1888. It blends aged wine distillates with sun-dried Muscat wines from the Aegean and a blend of Mediterranean botanicals. The oldest distillates in the blend have matured for up to 12 years in oak. It tastes of dried fruit, honeyed Muscat sweetness and toasted oak with warm baking spice, and finishes long and velvety. It can be served neat, over a large ice cube, or in place of brandy in cocktails.
