This is Michter's 10 Year Old, an American single barrel bourbon bottled at 47.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Each bottle comes from a single barrel that matured for at least ten years in new, heavily charred oak.
Vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and roasted nuts come through on the nose, with a hint of oak and toffee. The palate is full and soft, with honey, spice, leather and sweet corn, leading to a long, warm finish of fine spice and vanilla sweetness.
