This is Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye, bottled at 46.4% ABV. It continues the heritage of rye, the first whiskey style made by Michter's, originally known as Shenk's, which is described as America's first whiskey company. The 10 year old rye returned after an absence from the market of almost three years. Michter's then Master Distiller, Willie Pratt, approved its re-release in April 2014.
