Michter's – 10 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey

Michter's 10 Year Old Rye is a limited-release single barrel straight rye whiskey, with each barrel individually selected. Some of the barrels chosen are older than the stated 10 years. The mash bill contains at least 51% rye, and the whiskey is matured in new American white oak. The oak is air-dried for an extended period before toasting and charring, and the barrel entry strength is a relatively low 103 proof. The nose brings vanilla, toffee and toasted almond. On the palate come cinnamon and black pepper spice with a touch of orange peel.
