Michter's – Shenk's Homestead Sour Mash 2024 Release (70cl)

Michter's Shenk's Homestead Sour Mash is a rye-forward American whiskey, here in its 2024 release. It uses rye whiskey aged in French oak from the Vosges region, air dried and seasoned for 24 months and toasted to Michter's specification. The release also includes whiskeys made with unusual grains, among them malted rye and caramel malt, which add a creamy note alongside the herbaceous, spicy rye character. The nose is crème brûlée and spice. On the palate it is herbaceous, with highlights of spice and fruit nougat.
