Michter's Shenk's Homestead Sour Mash Whiskey is the 2022 release of an American sour mash whiskey, part of the Michter's Legacy Series. The name looks back to 1753, when John Shenk, a Swiss Mennonite farmer, founded Shenk's distillery. It was later renamed Bomberger's Distillery in the 1800s and became Michter's Distillery in the mid-20th century. The Legacy Series is the way Michter's honours that heritage.
