Michter's Single Barrel 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery in Louisville, bottled at 47.2% (94.4 proof) in a 750ml bottle. This is the 2025 release. Each bottle comes from a single barrel, so slight variation between barrels is to be expected. The bourbon is aged for 10 years using heat-cycled warehouse maturation and a low barrel entry proof, and is released only when the master distiller and master of maturation judge the barrels ready. The nose is typically described as deep caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate brings toffee, dried fruit and oak, and the finish is long and warming with caramel and spice.
