Michter's Single Barrel 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled from a single barrel at 46.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Michter's traces its history to 1753, when John Shenk founded a distillery in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania. The name was revived in Kentucky in the 1990s by Joseph J. Magliocco and Richard Newman. Today the company has a distillery in the Shively area of Louisville and farmland in Springfield.
