Michter's – Small Batch Bourbon (70cl, 45.7%)

Michter's Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45.7%. It is blended in a vessel holding no more than the contents of 20 full barrels. The whiskey matures in new, charred American white oak casks, which Michter's toasts before charring, and it goes into the cask at 51.5%. It has no added colouring. The nose combines strong caramel with vanilla and stone fruit, and smoky notes add depth. The palate shows sweet corn, honey and vanilla. The finish is light and lingering, with oak and white pepper.
