Michter's – US*1 Barrel Strength Rye Whiskey (70cl, 51.5%)

Michter's US*1 Barrel Strength Rye is a single-barrel American rye bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matures in new charred American white oak barrels, filled at a low barrel entry proof, which is how the whiskey builds its rich, smooth character over time. The nose brings butterscotch, cinnamon and a touch of dark cherry. On the palate there is toasted vanilla and caramel, leading to a dry, spicy oak finish. It can be taken neat, with a little water, or in a cocktail.
