Michter's US*1 Unblended American Whiskey is a small-batch American whiskey that is neither bourbon nor rye. It is matured in whiskey-soaked American white oak barrels and bottled at 41.7% ABV (83.4 proof). Unblended means no neutral spirit has been added.
The nose brings vanilla cupcakes, honey buns, sweet oak and powdered donuts, with hints of strawberry shortcake and dried cherry. On the palate it is smooth and medium-bodied, with butterscotch, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit. The finish is clean and light, with sweet oak and mild spice.
