Michter's – US1 Unblended American Whiskey (70cl)

This is Michter's US1 Unblended American Whiskey, a whiskey that is neither bourbon nor rye. Those styles must be aged in new oak barrels, whereas this one is matured in barrels that have already held whiskey, which gives it a rich and distinctive flavour. It never contains grain neutral spirits, which is the reason for the word unblended in its name. It returned to the market in late 2013 after an absence of nearly three years, when the then Master Distiller, Willie Pratt, judged it just right and the best it had ever been.
