Midleton – Very Rare 2024

Midleton Very Rare 2024 is an Irish whiskey from the Midleton range, a vintage release marking 40 years of the series and made under Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman. It was aged in oak, with American oak playing a part alongside the pot still spices. The nose is scented with vanilla, floral and herbal notes, with orchard fruits, cinnamon, clove, freshly mown hay, toffee and heather honey. On the palate are peach, nectarine, crème brûlée, toffee apple and chocolate-dipped honeycomb. The finish is lasting, as fruit and American oak linger.
