Midleton Very Rare 2024 Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Midleton Very Rare 2024 is an Irish whiskey and a vintage release marking 40 years of whiskey mastery under Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, and American oak shapes much of its character alongside pot still spice. The nose opens with vanilla, floral and herbal notes, then ripe apple and sweet pear, with cinnamon, clove, freshly mown hay, toffee and heather honey. The palate is silky, with peach, nectarine, crème brûlée, toffee apple and chocolate-dipped honeycomb. The finish is lasting, with fruit and American oak lingering softly.
